Amateur photography contest to be held at library next month

Esther Bone Memorial Library is inviting amateur photographers to submit a "Rio Rancho Reads"-themed photo in a friendly competition Sept. 28.

The requirement is that the photographers have never been paid for their photos. The photo needs follow the Rio Rancho theme, be unframed, and be 5 inches by 7 inches in size.

Winners will be announced Nov. 19 after a panel of judges has selected a winner and library customers have voted for a community favorite.
