550 re-opens after shut down at North West Loop

Update: All roadways are open as of 2:20 p.m.
Rio Rancho Police Department confirmed May 15 at around 11:50 a.m. that US-550 has been shut down at North West Loop Road.
The road was shut down for a traffic accident investigation, according to a social media post by RRPD. Police are advising drivers avoid the area.
RRPD has not yet responded to request for information on the incident.
