The gym at Lincoln Middle School has been transformed to look like two different basketball courts for the filming of “Rez Ball,” a Netflix movie produced by LeBron James that is filming in Rio Rancho and other locales in New Mexico.

“We are excited to welcome the ‘Rez Ball’ production to Lincoln Middle School. The film industry provides lucrative and exciting career opportunities for our community and our students are excited to experience a ‘sneak peek’ into a real film production and all that entails,” Rio Rancho Communications Director Wyndham Kemsley said. “Overall, this is an exciting opportunity for our district, and one that we are familiar with as we have hosted numerous other production companies in the past.”
