PHOTOS: Bernalillo hosts wet and wild Fourth
Water filled the air in Bernalillo's Rotary Park during the Independence Day Splash-Fest.
On July 4, the town of Bernalillo, celebrated Independence Day at Rotary Park with a barbeque and many water activities. The Bernalillo Fire Department was also in attendance with a water cascade from its 33-foot ladder engine.
The Splash-Fest, for kids of all ages, included water slides, water balloons and getting soaked by the fire department. In fact, throughout the morning, many firefighters participated in the water balloon fight. The town of Bernalillo also served hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, desserts and had drinks to those in attendance.
