GALLERY: Tribute to 9/11 victims
Early Friday morning, about 50 volunteers showed up before dawn at Daniels Family Funeral Services Vista Verde location for the annual “planting” of nearly 3,000 small American flags to honor those who perished in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. A memorial ceremony is set for 6 p.m. Monday.
