1. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, Sabana Grande Recreation Center will host a Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival. The event will feature 40 vendors to choose from. Sabana Grande is located at 4110 Sabana Grande Ave. SE Rio Rancho.

2. On Saturday, Nov. 23, THE BLOCK in Enchanted Hills is having a “Tree Lighting Spectacular.” The event will run from 4-9 p.m. Festivities include face painting at 4 p.m., an appearance of Santa Claus at 6 p.m., live music starting at 6 p.m. (performing is Una Mas y La ChaCha) and the tree lightning at 7 p.m.

3. Spirit Rally 2024 is coming on Saturday, Nov. 23, to Rio Rancho High School. The NMAA-sanctioned event will include various cheer and dance teams throughout New Mexico (all ages, all levels). Concessions, shout outs and flowers available for sale.

4. The Placitas Holiday Market will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23-24 and extend to seven different sites.

All sites will be located on or near Highway 165, and people are encouraged to follow the candy cane signage to the market sites. The Holiday Markets will feature local art, crafts, food and drinks.

Holiday Market attendees can pick up a map at any venue site or obtain a copy online. Admission is free. Seven sites: Wild Hearts Gallery, Placitas Community Library, Placitas Winery, Historic Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, Historic San Antonio Mission, Placitas Elementary School and Placitas Community Senior Center.

5. The Christmas De Los Caballos Parade is coming to Corrales Sunday, Nov. 24. The parade begins at 1 p.m. along Corrales Road from Wagner Farms to Top Form Arena.
