What's up this weekend? A look at what's going on around Sandoval Co. March 21-23
1. Famous Comedian Jo Koy will laugh up the Rio Rancho Event Center Friday, March 21, with his “Just Being Koy” Tour stop there.
“I never take for granted that I get to live out my dream on the stage every week, and this new tour is something special that I can’t what to share with everyone,” Koy said when the tour was announced.

2. Big Brother’s Bricks, a Lego store located to the west of Latitudes, will celebrate its grand opening at 11 a.m. March 22.
Co-owner Jonathan Sillett and his wife are looking forward to sharing a collection of vintage, used and brand-new Lego pieces or sets.
“Just give them a couple minutes in my store. They will find something they’re into,” Sillett said in a previous article.
3. Also on March 22, L&L Hawaiian Barbeque LLC, which is located right next to Big Brother’s Bricks, will have its grand opening.
The restaurant has been softly open, but Saturday will be its official day. Husband and wife duo Robert and Stasia Ybarra from Rio Rancho are looking forward to spreading the Aloha vibe.
“We’re just excited to come to this community, as community members as well, we’re just really excited to come make a difference hopefully help out,” Stasia said.
4. March 22 also marks the day for the city of Rio Rancho’s Spring Cleaning Rummage Sale at Cabezon Community Center and Park.
“Spring cleaning time is here! It’s time to clean out your garage and attic and get ready for the new season. Sell all of those items collecting dust or just come down and browse. Food trucks will be on site, also. No drugs, alcohol or weapons allowed,” a Facebook event post reads.

5. Corrales Historical Society will host the next presentation in its Speaker Series at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, withDennis Chamberlain, a master photographer, as guest speaker. He will talk about his published work, “18 Years in Corrales” at the Old Church.
