It’s the start of the fifth season for the Rio Rancho Players Community Theatre Group, which will hold its annual combination New Membership/Pre-Audition Meeting from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 8, in the St. Francis Episcopal Church Parrish Hall theater, 2903 Cabezon Road.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the different production possibilities they can participate in, meet experienced members and sign up for the different committees. Those in attendance will also get a preview of the Players’ upcoming production of the romantic comedy, “Adam’s Eve,” by Matthew Carlin, and participate in auditions, taking place from 12:30-3:30 p.m. July 15 at the same location.

Those considering an audition will receive a pre-audition script to prepare for that competition. The cast will range in ages from 20-75, with additional emcee and scene-setter roles available for middle school students and up as well.

Adam’s Eve” will premiere the last weekend in September and run for three consecutive weekends, totaling nine performances.
