With spring just around the corner, the Rio Rancho Players Community Theatre Group is poised to return and proceed with a rehearsal and performance schedule beginning in February.

For that to happen, the Players will be holding a new membership/pre-audition workshop recruitment meeting from 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Francis Episcopal Church Parrish Hall Theater, 2903 Cabezon Blvd.

Auditions for the production of the classic comedy/thriller “Arsenic and Old Lace” will be held from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the same location, with rehearsals scheduled to begin in mid-February and nine performances commencing in late April.

So, whether your choice is to be as an actor or a member of the production team, the Rio Rancho Players look forward to meeting and providing information to all interested Rio Rancho residents from middle school age up through the senior citizen community. For additional information, contact Players founder Mel Sussman at mjsussman@gmail.com or 970-381-1944.
