Quezada's hosts next comedy special this weekend
SANTA ANA PUEBLO — Steven Michael Quezada will film his next comedy special at his club, Quezada's, in Santa Ana Star Casino at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. July 11-12 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. both nights.
A July 8 release stated Quezada will take the stage with all-new material for four live tapings over the two nights.
“We are incredibly proud of Steven and what we’ve accomplished in such a short time,” said John Cirrincione, CEO and general manager of Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel. “To now film a comedy special in the very club [Steven] helped bring to life — it’s a full-circle moment for all of us.”
A New Mexico native, Steven Michael Quezada is one of the Southwest’s most celebrated entertainers, according to the release.
While he is widely known as DEA Agent Steven Gomez from the Emmy Award–winning series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, comedy fans have been hearing his stand-up for nearly four decades. This special marks his second full-length comedy taping and a milestone for Quezada’s Comedy Club, which was voted Best Comedy Club in its very first year open, it states.
“This is a huge moment for Quezada’s,” said Director of Marketing, John Andersen. “There’s something exciting about taping a live comedy special, and the fact that it’s happening here—inside our own walls, with a hometown crowd—is just incredible. We can’t wait to capture the energy on film.”
Both 7 p.m. shows are already sold out, but tickets remain for the 9:30p performances.
