Placitas Library to host bestselling author
Placitas Community Library will host author Hampton Sides at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 to present his new work, "The Wide Wide Sea."
The New York Times best-selling author wrote nonfiction adventure stories set in war or depicting expeditions of exploration. He is the author of the best-selling narrative histories Ghost Soldiers, Blood and Thunder, Hellhound On His Trail, In the Kingdom of Ice, and On Desperate Ground.
The event if free and open to the public.
