Mariposa to host National Night Out event

The Mariposa Community Safety Committee along with the HOA is hosting its first National Night Out at 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at Mariposa Community Park.
"We expect RRPD and RRFD to be present. Mayor Hull has confirmed he will attend. We will provide games and prizes for family activities and will provide brochures for keeping our community safe. Our first Neighborhood Watch sign has been installed and we will be providing residents with Neighborhood Watch decals," it reads in a release.
Food trucks will also be present.
