Koy to return to Rio Rancho in 2025

RIO RANCHO — About a year after performing in Rio Rancho, Jo Koy has announced his return to the City of Vision.

The Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour will come to the Rio Rancho Events Center Friday, March 25.

Koy has sold out venues around the world, including breaking the record for the most tickets sold by a single artist (23,000 tickets) and 11 sold-out shows at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. He also sold out venues in Seattle, Manila, Los Angeles, Dubai, Sydney, Dallas and Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The comedian has also starred in feature films, including 2022’s “Easter Sunday,” based on Koy’s life experiences and comedy. He also appeared in Disney’s “Haunted Mansion” and has voiced characters in Netflix films “Monkey King” and “Leo” and Paramount+’s “The Tiger’s Apprentice.”

Koy also has several stand-up specials, including a two-special deal with Netflix and has six highly rated stand-up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. He also released an autobiography, “Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo,” in 2021, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Charts for his “Live From Seattle” stand-up comedy album in 2019 and was named “Stand-Up Comedian of the Year” at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
