Songs that have drifted through each generation will make it to Rio Rancho ears this fall, only this time it'll be live.

Those who grew up hearing songs like "Hot Blooded,", "Cold As Ice" and the song often used as a motivational anthem, "Juke Box Hero," will either grin or cringe at this news.

In a farewell tour, Foreigner will perform at Rio Rancho Events Center Oct. 8, and they won't be the only band performing. Joining them is "Working For The Weekend" performer, Loverboy.

Last year, many bands of multigenerational appreciation announced their own farewell tours, though some have had more than one farewell tour in the past. Many bands like Eagles, Kiss and the B-52's performed for 40 years or longer. Foreigner is no different.

The band formed in 1976 with three Brits and three Americans, which influenced the name. Since then their music has received international recognition. Infamous songs like "I Want To Know What Love Is" and "Double Vision" linger on the radio and have evolved to play on Spotify and Apple Tunes.

The farewell tour will give the audience a blast from the past while Foreigner and their special guest, Loverboy, work through each memorable album.

Tickets for their Rio Rancho stop will go on sale April 5 on ticketmaster.com.
