This event honors Puebloan, Spanish, Mexican, and Anglo influences on the arts and histories that make up our state’s identity. Join local artisans demonstrating weaving and spinning, traditional blacksmithing, straw inlay, silver filigree, retablo painting, and much more. At the Angostura Diversion Dam, located at the south end of the village of Algodones, come together to clean up the Rio Grande River. Accessed via a service road that heads west from NM Hwy 313. All materials for the clean-up will be provided. We will clean up around the river’s edge, and then take to the water for the river clean-up. Water participation is not required but highly encouraged. Board Rentals Available upon RSVP for a cost of $40. Food, drinks, and raffle prizes available.
