Astronomical Society to cover Jupiter at next meeting

The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will host its regular monthly meeting July 12 at Rainbow Park Observatory behind Rainbow Pool. Kevin McKowen, master observer and stargazer, will speak on “Jupiter, Jove, the King of Planets.”
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Telescopes will be available for public stargazing after the meeting, weather permitting.
