The PLANNING and ZONING BOARD of the CITY of RIO RANCHO, NM will consider the following matters at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022:

Mini Master Plan

Request #22-400-00001

Applicant, Lomas Encantadas Development Co. LLC, through their agent, Tierra West LLC, requests approval of the Montreal Mini Master Plan on the property legally described as Unit 2, Block 1, Parcel C.

Preliminary Plat Extension

Request #21-210-00005

The applicant, Coal Bank Holdings, Ltd., through their agent Mark Goodwin & Associates, PA., are requesting approval for a preliminary plat extension for Stonegate Phase 1 subdivision to create 84 residential lots and 5 tracts on the property legally described as Stonegate, Tract 2 and Stonegate Tract 8.

Zone Map Amendment

The applicant, 528 Development, LLC, through their agent, Consensus Planning, Inc, request approval of a Zone Map Amendment to amend the Ordinance for an SU: Special Use for C-1: Retail Commercial and Mixed-Residential Uses property, and accompanying Site Plan.

Preliminary Plat Extension

The applicant, Pulte Group, through their agent, Bohannan Huston, Inc., request approval of a Preliminary Plat Extension for the Rainbow Preliminary Plat.

Text Amendment

Case #22-100-00008

The applicant, City of Rio Rancho, seeks to amend R.O. 2003 154.32 CBD: Central Business District to add the following permissive land uses: Laboratories, research, experimental stations; Light manufacturing; Sales, display room/building for wholesaler, distributor, etc.; Office and corporate headquarters; and Medical supplies and services, drug prescription, prosthetic supplies and dental/medical lab. R.O. 2003 154.35: Nonresidential Land Use Table would also be updated to include these uses for the Central Business District.

Master Plan Amendment

The applicant, City of Rio Rancho, seeks to amend the City Centre Master Plan to include the following land uses: Laboratories, research, experimental stations; Light manufacturing; Sales, display room/building for wholesaler, distributor, etc.; Office and corporate headquarters; and Medical supplies and services, drug prescription, prosthetic supplies and dental/medical lab. The applicant additionally requests to update the Plan’s land use map.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Cir. NE, Rio Rancho, NM. The public is invited to attend in person or virtually at www.rrnm.gov. Materials related to these items are available for viewing in the Development Services Department at City Hall.
