Notice of Adoption of

Ordinance

Notice is hereby given of the title and of a general summary of the subject matter contained in Ordinance No. 11-08-23.10A duly adopted and approved by the County Commission of Sandoval County, New Mexico, on November 8, 2023. A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection during the normal and regular business hours of the County Clerk, 1500 Idalia, Building D, Bernalillo, New Mexico.

The title of the Ordinance is:

SANDOVAL COUNTY, NEW MEXICO

ORDINANCE NO. 11-08-23.10A

AMENDING AND EXTENDING A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED COUNTY LOCAL OPTION GROSS RECEIPTS TAX.

The Ordinance removes the previous restriction on the dedication of the previously-enacted County Correction Facility Gross Receipts Tax, provides for the dedication and pledge of such tax to the payment of debt service on indebtedness issued by the County to finance the construction and equipping of the Sandoval County District 13 Courthouse as long as such indebtedness (or any obligations issued by the County to refinance such indebtedness) remain outstanding, and extends the delayed repeal date of the ordinance imposing such tax to December 31, 2048.
