Corrales Scarecrow contest on for next week

The Corrales MainStreet is bringing back the Scarecrow contest.

"It has been a while since we have had this competition," Mayor Jim Fahey writes in his mayor's message.

Submissions will be accepted until Sept. 27, and then online voting will be open from Sept. 28 through Oct. 30.

Participants will get a chance for cash prizes if they win. Winners will be announced at the Trunk or Treat on Halloween.

The contest is put on by the Corrales Mainstreet.
