U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union, Olympic skateboarder Mariah Duran partner for financial well-being campaign
U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union, a New Mexico credit union with more than 95,000 members, has launched a statewide financial well-being campaign to help New Mexicans find their financial balance and learn about the financial wellness tools and services U.S. Eagle has made available for everyone in the community.
The “Find Your Balance” campaign features Mariah Duran, three-time X Games gold medalist, two-time USA national champion and current two-time USA Olympic team member. An Albuquerque native, Duran has partnered with U.S. Eagle to help educate and motivate New Mexicans about setting goals in life for their financial wellbeing and how to better manage their finances.
“We are thrilled to work with Mariah to help share the importance of financial well-being to youth and young adults in New Mexico. We are dedicated to providing them with financial education and free tools to reach their goals. It’s not just about having more money, but rather about making most of the money they do have by finding balance and feeling confident in their financial decisions,” said Marsha Majors, president and CEO of U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union. “As a professional skateboarder who grew up in Albuquerque, Mariah knows the community and wants to share what she learned about setting goals and making sound financial decisions.”
The campaign focuses on “Living Life” by making smart financial decisions through the tools and services found by visiting U.S. Eagle’s FindYourBalance.org site. Duran helps educate New Mexicans about goal setting and how to better manage their finances.
“I am honored to partner with U.S. Eagle to help New Mexicans with setting their goals for financial well-being,” Duran said. “The ‘Find Your Balance’ campaign is another way for me to give back to the community where I was raised and to those who have supported me in reaching my goals.”
Duran’s full story and the array of financial well-being products and services for those looking to improve their financial outlook may be found online at FindYourBalance.org. Most are free and are available to all — not just current U.S. Eagle members. For more information about U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union, visit USEagle.org.
