Rio Ranchoan opens event space on Albuquerque border
ALBUQUERQUE — A need for an event space in the Rio Rancho area was answered by one of its residents just across the Albuquerque border.
La Grande Maison Lumiere celebrated its opening Aug. 1 at its location on NM 528. Its client relations manager Dr. Siloise Binikiseh, who is from Rio Rancho, organized the event to exhibit what the venue is capable of, though the space itself opened in February.
“It’s such a big deal, and we are super super excited really because of what we can provide for all our clients. Every event comes with a personal touch, and today’s just a way to showcase our space,” she said.
The location is the epitome of opportunity for Binikiseh.
“We are right at the cusp of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque. We serve all of Rio Rancho. I love Rio Rancho. I live in Rio Rancho, and I think we really needed an event space, but we also serve the greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe area, and really all of New Mexico and beyond,” she said.
Clients from around the nation are already interested in the space, according to Binikiseh. She said she has one client coming from North Carolina soon.
The space, she said, is dynamic in that it can provide space for anyone corporate to private.
“It really can be tailored to whatever you want it to be,” she said.
La Grande offers full-service event hosting, elegant venue rental, corporate and private events, weddings and receptions, on-site event support as well as any decor and setup add-ons, according to the website.
Aside from weddings, the space can suit graduations, baby showers, business presentations, meetings, anniversaries, birthdays and more.
There is a spacious indoor celebration room that is prefaced with an outdoor courtyard, equipped with a fountain.
“We have venue for unforgettable events, and a lot of times when you go to places you miss that personal touch. We’re literally full service, so if you want it from just the space or to the full decor and everything taken care of, then we’re really the space to go to. We do everything with heart with passion with transparency and integrity,” Binikiseh said.
