Poke Serrano relocating

RIO RANCHO — Poke Serrano and ITS neighboring dessert spot, Sweet Cup, announced Saturday, Dec. 28, that they have officially closed their doors.

Despite closing the current location off of Southern Boulevard, Poke Serrano plans to reopen at a new location.

Per a sign at the door, the plan is to be closed temporarily while Poke Serrano relocates one block west.

“Thank you all for your patronage, we look forward to serving you at our new location,” said the sign on their store window.

Poke Serrano opened Dec. 27, 2023, and lasted just over a year at their current location.

Here is what was said on their social media account: “A heartfelt goodbye- Poke Serrano has closed its doors. To our amazing patrons and dedicated team, thank you for your support, laughter, and memories. You made Poke Serrano more than just a restaurant- you made it a community. We are forever grateful for each and every one of you.”

The Rio Rancho Observer reached out to Poke Serrano, and they informed us that they, “do have something else coming,” and that they will let us know their plans soon.
