Office Alternatives, a provider of flexible office solutions, announced last week the expansion of its leasable space by 6,000 square feet and 20 new offices, another training room and an event space.

The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce and Office Alternatives celebrated the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 29.

This increase caters to the rising demand for downsized office solutions among businesses seeking professional workspace options without the overhead of traditional leases.

With the expansion at 4801 Lang Ave NE Suite 110 in Albuquerque, Office Alternatives now boasts over 16,000 square feet of prime office space at the Journal Center location offering a diverse range of options to suit every need. Businesses can choose from fully furnished private offices, co-working spaces, virtual offices and meeting rooms.

“We are thrilled to unveil our expanded office space, which reflects our commitment to providing flexible solutions that meet the diverse needs of businesses,” said Christina Easterly, president at Office Alternatives. “Our goal is to create an environment where businesses can thrive, no matter their size or industry. The additional offices, combined with our professional services, reaffirm our dedication to offering a top-notch workplace experience.”

Over the past four years, growth of the gig economy and remote work has increased dramatically due to a wide range of workplace changes for freelancers, independent contractors and remote workers that need a flexible workspace without making their home office being their primary address. In addition, a shifting corporate culture from the traditional office models is evolving, with companies embracing open-plan layouts, remote work options and valuing employee well-being, making coworking spaces a viable alternative.

“We’ve witnessed a surge in companies seeking efficient and cost-effective workspace solutions,” said Jerry Schalow, president of the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce. “This expansion allows Office Alternatives to accommodate the growing downsizing trend and provide businesses with a professional, amenity-rich environment that fosters productivity and success.”

Beyond the expanded space, Office Alternatives prides itself on offering a comprehensive suite of amenities to enhance the client experience. These include:

  • Dedicated receptionist services: Providing a professional first impression for visiting clients.
  • High-speed internet and Wi-Fi: Ensuring seamless connectivity and productivity.
  • Coffee and refreshment station: Fueling creativity and collaboration.
  • Multifunction printer and copier: Catering to all business needs.
  • Conference rooms: Available for hourly meetings and presentations.
  • Secure building access: Guaranteeing peace of mind.
