New veteran-owned business officially opens in Rio Rancho
Kevin Hendricks Observer.
Marche Karger, a military veteran, officially launched his new business, Fusion Concepts, with a ribbon-cutting event at the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce Thursday.
Fusion Concepts specializes in custom outdoor kitchens, patios, fire pits and patio bar and cocktail areas. Karger soft-launched the company in February and is now ready to get to work as the weather warms up.
The new business is a big step forward for Karger.
“A decade ago, I was in wingtips, not work boots. I was in boardrooms, not backyards. Some might consider this to potentially be a career regression. I consider it elevation,” Karger said. “I’m working for myself. I’m making myself and my family money. I’m making my community better. I’m being involved as an active participant and member of the community. I’m just thankful to be here and want to continue to flourish and continue to make this city a community.”
The ribbon cutting was attended by several chamber members, family and friends of Karger, Mayor Gregg Hull and County Commissioner Katherine Bruch.
“When it comes to home improvements for remodeling and the products and services that you’re offering and I certainly appreciate it when you told me a minute ago that you’re focused on quality, not quantity. You stay and make sure the job is done right and you deliver a quality project and a quality product. I think that’s really what people are looking for today is a nice well done project to make their homes feel new and fresh again,” Hull said. “There’s a lot of remodeling, a lot of fixing up, people are investing in that particular area. When you invest in that particular area, it brings up the quality of the house. It brings up the feel of the neighborhood, it does a lot of things to really add to the value and the quality of Rio Rancho.”
Fusion Concepts is located at 4405 Jager Dr NE Suite C4 in Rio Rancho and also serves Albuquerque, Placitas, Santa Fe, Bernalillo and Corrales.“I’m looking forward to seeing you out in other parts of the county, we’ve had growth everywhere as you well know,” Bruch said. “Thank you for being here in our community.”
