IT help desk establishing itself in RR
IT Guardians, owned by Jay Morgan, is getting its start in Rio Rancho as the technology age takes leaps and bounds into a new era.
Morgan says the business started with him trying to figure out what he wanted his career to be.
“I’ve been a pizza guy and a mechanic. I was talking to my wife and my mom because I was considering a career change at the time, and they were like, ‘You would be good with computers,'” Morgan said.
The business is run out of Morgan’s home as a help desk for customers with tech issues. Morgan says he helps with remote and in-person problems for commercial and residential customers.
“I have over 4 1/2 years of experience so far in the IT industry,” he added.
He also got IT certified through CNM community college.
Morgan was especially proud of a service to help people with disabilities.
“I developed a way to use Alexa to control their devices with their voice because they can’t physically move to use their devices,” he said.
He added that technology has made it easier to solve those challenges that people were not able to solve before the “dawn of technology.”
“Technology plays a vital role in our lives, both professionally and personally. When devices fail, it costs us time, it costs us energy and most often money,” Morgan stressed.
IT Guardians, Morgan says, is meant to be an affordable service to help in that realm.
The IT service industry rakes in trillions of dollars annually. According to a Statista study, the U.S. IT services market revenue will increase by about $19 billion in the next five years. Last year, the IT revenue hit about $63.3 billion.
Accenture, with brand value of around $39.9 billion, was the world’s most valuable IT services provider in 2023. IBM ranked fourth, with a brand value worth almost $10.6 billion, while Capgemini ranked fifth.
While there are a few IT services in Rio Rancho, Morgan’s is one of the only with a help desk-like platform. He says what makes IT Guardians different is the customer service aspect of it.
“My biggest experience is customer service. I have over 10 years serving customers,” he added.
He says IT Guardians prides itself on providing the highest level of customer service to every customer every time.
“We will bend over backwards to make sure every one of our clients are satisfied,” he said.
Whatever the need may be, whether it be internet, hardware, software, email or browser problems, Morgan says IT Guardians can help. He also says the increasing population in Rio Rancho just brings more customers to the table.
“IT Guardians stands ready to assist anyone who needs IT help,” he said.
