From a garage to THE BLOCK

RIO RANCHO — La Casita Flower Shop is the latest boutique to open up at THE BLOCK in Enchanted Hills.

Owner Georgette Camacho started her business three years ago in a garage. Her clientele was her family and friends.

“Then everybody started to recommend me. It went from there, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’” Camacho said.

La Casita has already developed a great reputation throughout the city and was awarded with a 2024 Best of the City award from Albuquerque The Magazine for “Top 5: Best Florist.”

“I did not expect that we were going to be in the top five. We are so grateful for the community and the people that voted for us,” Camacho said.

La Casita does every event: weddings, baby showers, graduations and birthdays as well as deliveries and customizable flower bouquets (they wrap it for you).

“Our flowers come from all over the world. If we don’t have it over here, we will try to find it in another country,” Camacho said.

They also sell vases and encourage customers to reuse vases for their flowers; if they do, they will get a 10% discount.
