Children's clothing resale store sets up shop

ALBUQUERQUE — Whether it’s baby clothes, toddler clothes or small children’s clothes, Once Upon a Child has it.

At their opening Jan. 14, owner Liz Crawford explained what the function of the store is.

“We pay you cash for high-quality, sparkling clean items. Yes, we focus on cleanliness, safety and high quality. We can’t take anything made out of glass. We can’t take anything that’s been recalled,” Crawford said.

She said the store is a way for people to get rid of hand-me-downs in good condition and get the next size up for their kids at an affordable price.

She added that their grand opening was well received on the community.

“This area has welcomed us with open arms, and we’re looking forward to being part of this community and part of this area,” she said.

The store also has supplies ranging from baby carriers to toys to shoes. It’s located in the Corrales Shopping Center off Alameda Boulevard.
