RIO RANCHO — On Sept. 21, the Sandoval County Landfill is offering a free half-day from 8 a.m. to noon.

Limitations per trip include four tires, two TVs and 10 gallons of hazardous household waste.

The free half-day is sponsored by the Sandoval County Landfill, the city of Rio Rancho and the town of Bernalillo.

Regular prices will go into effect after noon, and the landfill will be open until 4 p.m.
