BERNALILLO — On Nov. 26, Sandoval County’s Tourism Department and the Sandoval County Tourism Alliance (SCTA) announced the first-time nomination of the New Mexico Top HAT Finalist Award to Mountain West Brew Fest in Bernalillo.

The Mountain West Brew Fest was held Aug. 24 at Loretto Park and featured brews from seven New Mexican breweries.

According to a press release, the Mountain West Brew Fest provided a memorable experience for visitors and showcased the growing craft beer scene.

The Top HAT awards recognize initiatives and individuals who drive tourism to the state and highlight New Mexican communities.

“The town would like to thank the hard work and dedication of the town’s staff and volunteers for making the event a great success,” said Christina Jones, Bernalillo’s Director of Economic & Community Development. “We ask that everyone keep a lookout for new and exciting changes to come in 2025 for this signature annual event.”
