Cabezon community center taking donations to Veterans Hospital
The Cabezon Community Center is accepting donations until Dec. 15 to take to the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque.The center asks donation bags be filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, a comb/brush, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, socks, a blanket, a book to read, a puzzle book and maybe some snacks.The gifts will be taken to Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque Dec. 18 in order for patients to receive their gifts on Dec. 24.The Cabezon Community Center hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
