The city of Rio Rancho’s annual fall festival had yet another big turnout Oct. 21.

Hundreds of people came to the event. There was plenty for people to do.

“Something for everyone! Spooky or not — you’re sure to have a great time,” Rio Rancho Events Center staff posted.

Pumpkin carving was popular as were the balloon animals and face painting.

Mayor Gregg Hull also made his rounds at the event. “This is a crowd! There’s a lot of people out here joining the fun,” he said.

As the intense line of trunk-or-treaters moved through the maze of trunks, the cartoon Addams Family played on the Campus Park big screen.

From princesses to superheroes to Barbies and some video game characters, there were a variety of costumes roaming the park grounds.

The city’s next event will be the Winterfest in December.
