Drive-Thru Poki Poki coming to old Pizza 9 location; Rio also getting a brunch spot

RIO RANCHO — A Poki Poki drive-thru is coming to the old Pizza 9 spot in Rio Rancho.

However, that’s not all.

The former Poke Serrano location will transition to “Brekki Brekki,” which is a brunch restaurant featuring a full bar and locally brewed beer and cider.

“We successfully opened our first Brekki Brekki in 2024 and are excited to bring this concept to Rio Rancho,” Cantina Hospitality Group Marketing Director Julian Nunez said. “To ensure the Rio Rancho Poki Poki community can still enjoy their favorite bowls, we’re launching a Poki Poki drive-thru concept. This way, Rio Rancho can still get its poke fix with added convenience.”

Cantina Hospitality Group is a company that creates unique dining experiences and has an ensemble of restaurants. Other Cantina Hospitality Group concepts include Sushi King, The Sweet Cup and Tamashi, to name a few.

The Poki Poki drive-thru will be located at 900 36th Place SE, while the Brekki Brekki location will be located at 3755 Southern Blvd. SE.
