On Wednesday, the Rio Rancho City Council, by a vote of 6 to 0, appointed Keith J. Riesberg as city manager and approved his employment contract, which includes a base annual salary of $150,000. Riesberg’s first day as Rio Rancho’s new city manager will be April 22.

You mean the same Ted Cruz who is standing up for our guns rights. I believe in my gun rights. So put me down as a right winger.

For this group of kooks to vote for this gentleman he must possess all of the right-wing credentials of a Ted Cruz. Good luck to Rio Rancho.

Doubtful it was a mutual unanimous vote but one of what choice do we have but to go along. [sad] Not a disparaging statement against Mr. Riesberg but reference to the majority members of the council that votes together in concert. Good luck to Mr. Riesberg and the city of Rio Rancho.
