Democrat Linda Allison of Rio Rancho on Tuesday announced she is running for New Mexico Senate, District 40.
Allison has lived in Rio Rancho for 30 years and New Mexico for 32 years. Her family is originally from northern New Mexico. Allison has seen the benefits and challenges of the development of schools, roads, libraries, senior centers and infrastructure to facilitate businesses, a news release said.
Allison worked at Intel for 25 years as a program manager. She started the first manufacturing lab, where technicians are trained. She won two awards for training methodologies and served as a performance consultant to analyze gaps and design interventions for training requirements.
Allison graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She has more than 40 years experience in human resources and training.
Allison serves on the board of the Democratic Women of Sandoval County and on the Board of Storehouse West Food Pantry.
